Major Livestock Rule Changes
General Livestock Rule Change -
Grandparents will be included in the immediate family members who may assist with grooming of animals. Reference - Butler County Fair Book - Livestock Rules and Regulations
Beef and Bucket Calf -
The steer and heifer shows will be no fit shows, “Blow and Show”. “No Fit” is defined as using no adhesive, glue, paint or powder products.
Sheep -
The market lambs will be shown by weight. There will be NO breed classes.
Swine -
Barrows must be physically castrated.
