Our Role: As the only statewide university network, K-State Research and Extension conducts research and provides practical information, education and training on issues that Kansans consider important and helpful in improving their lives, farms, organizations, businesses, families or communities.
Our work affects every aspect of life--from ensuring a plentiful, nutritious, safe and acceptable food supply, to promoting a desirable quality of life, to preserving natural resources. Through science-based programs, we address complex and critical problems and deliver our findings in person or by public presentations, demonstrations, publications, computer networks, CD-ROMS, newspapers and other media.
